5-6 million watches ordered by Apple: WSJ!

The Wall Street Journal reported that, the Apple company asked the Asian suppliers to have the 5-6 million units of all the three models of the Apple Watch. It is reported that this stock would be for the first quarter. The WSJ made these reports for making people familiar with the issue. 

Quanta Computer Inc which is the Taiwan based company (2382 TW) and this company is the sole assembler of the Apple Watch. This company started the mass production of these watches to reach the target of the April launch, reported the WSJ. April would be the official month of these Apple Watches for the launch. 

The Wall Street Journal even reported that, as many as thousands of workers would work day and night, round the clock in the Quanta’s factory during the Chinese New Year in China.

The Apple company said that it wont be commenting on the speculation or the rumors that are taking rounds. The basic or the entry level Apple Watch of Sport model has the half of the order or the production. But the mid tiered Apple Watch would get the third count. 

The Apple Watch, high end edition which would come with the 18 karat gold would be expected to have small orders when compared in the first quarter. The Journal reported that the Apple company is planning to have more production and it might be more than 1 million units a month in the second quarter.

This Apple Watch would be priced at $349. These gadgets can receive messages and phone calls, serve like the digital wallet, play music, keep a track of the heart beats with the special sensors for it.
